Welcome

Welcome to the Gathering Threads – Textiles & Fibres In Notts group.

We are a friendly, enthusiastic and active group of around forty members, covering a wide range of interests within stitched textiles, and warmly welcome both new members and visitors.

We are now meeting in 'real life' with the occasional Zoom meeting.
Our monthly email newsletter keeps us in touch with our activities as well as other activities in the area.

Anyone can sign up to receive our newsletter by email- you do not have to be a member to receive it but hopefully you will consider joining us! Alternatively, you can read all our recent Newsletters here.

If you have an interest in textile art, embroidery and stitch, do come and join us as a regular member or on an occasional basis as a visitor

Visitors are always very welcome.

We meet monthly (except for August) at either St Paul's Church Hall, Boundary Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 7DB or Ruddington Methodist Church Hall (Opposite Co-op), Charles Street, Ruddington NG11 6EF (click here for more info)

We held an exhibition at Beeston Library, Foster Avenue, Beeston, from January 24th to 14th February 2024.

The theme was Walls and Gardens, inspired by a visit to the Walled Gardens at Wollaton Hall.

Work in progress by
Jan Merryweather.
