Workshops 11-12

Julie Arkell "The Making of Small Things"

Friday 14th October 2011

“I love to make things with fabric wool odd notions found in sewing baskets, scraps, trinkets found and given.

Embroidering words and stories onto old and new cloth, repairing, darning, we will piece together fabric to make brooches, bracelets and other objects.”

Julie has a book, but doesn't yet have a website. Also, see work done by Monica Dunkley (with her permission) on the workshop we will be having with Julie Arkell.
