Welcome to the Gathering Threads – Textiles & Fibres in Notts group. We are a friendly, enthusiastic and active group of over forty members, covering a wide range of interests within stitched textiles, and warmly welcome both new members and visitors.
Our meetings are usually held on -
the 2nd Sat 2 - 4 pm (Ruddington Methodist Church Hall),
the 2nd Thu 7 - 9 pm (other venue - please check programme page or most recent newletter)
Alternate months
Nottingham City Transport Bus route 10 travels into Ruddington.
You can be sure of a friendly welcome at our meetings, where we usually have a speaker or, twice a year, a more social meeting. Our speakers cover a wide range of topics - all types of stitch, including embroidery, quilting, beading and knitting. Several times a year, the speaker stays overnight and gives a Workshop the next day.
If you have an interest in Textile Art, you are very welcome to join as a member or just visit us when you can.
Meetings and refreshments are free to members.
